All of MSI’s item processing solutions engage a variety of components to enable checks that have been captured and processed internally as images, to be cleared without ever again having to access the original physical paper.

These capabilities include:

• Import and export of x9.37 image cash letter files to and from other financial institutions and image exchange networks for:
  
  o Accepting in-clearing on-us items
  o Accepting incoming returns
  o Presenting forward-collection image cash letters
  o Presenting outgoing return cash letter files
  
  
• Physical access to leading image exchange networks, including the Federal Reserve and Endpoint Exchange
  
  
• Rendering of IRDs and Substitute checks PDF files ready for printing in your local operations.
  
  
• Direct utility viewing of x9.37 files with MSI’s x9.37 file viewer product.
  
  
• Electronified Same-Day-Settlement (SDS) through MSI’s private local exchange network, DirectPresentment.com. For a fraction of the per-item cost of participating in large national networks, the often “lion’s share” local portion of your forward-collection volume can be cleared with your nearby partner banks directly using MSI’s direct cash letter file sharing platform.
