Statement Composition
Composition is the process of taking raw statement and/or notice output from
your host computer or core processing system and reformatting it into
print-friendly renderings, sometimes including check images, that can then be
high-speed laser printed onto blank or pre-printed statement stock to produce
periodic statements. The same process is also necessary to render electronic
online statements to attain their desired look and layout. Often, the “as-is”
output from the host computer or core processing system is not optimized for
efficient utilization of paper, ink, screen real estate --or even aesthetics.
And sometimes, the data is merely a stream of records that needs to be arranged
into a statement format altogether. MSI brings powerful Composition software and
know-how to the rendering of all print & mail jobs we perform. We’ll take your
current host statements output file, optionally combine it with images from the
archive populated by your current check imaging system (or the MSI archive, if
we’re your check imaging solution) and render statements exactly how you want
them to look. Along the way, we’ll apply our expertise to help you reduce page
count, and ink usage to lower production costs, as well as to organize mailings
to take the greatest advantage of postal discounts.
Check Images
When statements require the inclusion of check images, MSI can compose the image
pages with whatever number of images per page you desire, to balance customer
readability with piece weight for lower postage costs.
